Paddle Steamer Excursions in Dorset: Everybody aboard the Paddle Steamer "The Waverley" for an exciting cruise where you can enjoy the scenery all along the Dorset coastline and visit one of the many charming beaches for a memorable day out.

The Waverley is the last sea going paddle steamer in the entire world and, following the completion of a huge restoration project in 2003, she now sails all around Britain offering regular trips on the Clyde, the Thames, the South Coast of England and the Bristol Channel, with many calls at various ports and piers throughout the UK. Don't miss this chance to take a trip on this historic ship, which sails from Weymouth, Swanage and Bournemouth also calling at Southampton, Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Worthing, Folkestone and Dover. View Dorset's beauiful Jurassic Coast from the sea, hosts of breath-taking rock formations, stunning white cliffs and sparkling blue sea make these cruises an absolutly unforgettable experience.

At Stonehenge you can step back some 5,000 years to the dawn of time and wonder how these huge stones managed to get here and who brought them. More importantly, why? Was it part of an astronomical calendar? Were ancient rites performed here? We just don’t know. And why does Stonehenge still fascinate us today? Go there and find out there is so much more to learn about than just the stones!
